Liv well behavioral is a licensed outpatient treatment center that offers services to school age students. All services aid clients in living healthy lives for themselves, their family and their communities. Services are established according to the client’s treatment plan and assessment. Liv Well strives to achieve optimal results and consistent with the client’s identified needs. Every plan is conducted to have the child’s best interest at heart. Our activities encourage clients to explore new experiences and discover hidden talents, while focusing on their individual uniqueness.

We received glowing reports from families on the benefits of participating. Not only did this program provide a safe environment, but included counseling and mentoring support, community outings, nutritious meals, and family involvement. Parents noticed improvement in student behavior and increased parenting support to address concerns at home. My students were eager to share with me the events, relationships, and social skills they learned. Barriers include parent work schedules, consistent transportation, hours of services, and limitations of the services. Livwell has eliminated these barriers with the inclusion of meals, transportation, and counseling services all included in their program.

I had the distinct pleasure of working directly with Liv Well while I was the princpal of a Title I school in the Chandler Unified School District. Not only did Liv Well provide counseling services to some of my students but they also provided wrap around services to their families and our greater school community. In my current role at the district level, it is my hope to increase the capacity in which Liv Well can serve our community. Everyone from their organization is committed to the mission, is selfless and wants to equip students with the tools to be the change and know that it’s okay to be different. This organization has supported our students with love, care and respect for the last 2 years. As principal of Galveston, I feel fortunate to be able to call LivWell our partners in education and community as they continue to engage our families and provide much needed therapy for our most vulnerable children. Our students are transported to LivWell during the week where they receive quality behavioral support that leads positive results. Our students enjoy and look forward to their time at LivWell. I am also thankful for the strong, supportive, leadership that LivWell has established and dedicated staff that excel in communication and parent engagement. They are proactive and solution oriented. As stated, they are true partners and they have quickly proven to be a tremendous asset to our community and advocates for students growing up in poverty.
